The phonics flashcards and charts introduce and drill the sounds of the letters throughout the year. Special information is also printed on the back of some of the cards to help students understand consonant blends. Charts cover various rules (i.e. 'short vowel o words', 'Short Vowel words that end in ck'), while the flashcards help to introduce the upper-case and lower-case letters of the alphabet as well as the sounds they make.
