Converted in 1954 as a teenager, the author of this book, Peter Naylor, is the minister of the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Because he had long since desired to know more about Particular Baptists, and because Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties are rich in the history of such people, writing these pages has been for him a joyful and illuminating task.
