Acknowledging that students will write more fluently upon what interests them, Practical English combines the writing process with reflection on what student's personal and career goals are. Lessons take two weeks to complete not only to ensure mastery, but also to encourage deeper thinking about their goals; a pre-writing worksheet begins the lesson, and is followed by a rough draft, receiving class feedback, writing the final draft and presenting the finished product.
