Living a life that is pleasing to the Lord does not have to be something for the future. Fifth graders will explore the unlimited possibilities of this reality in an emphasis of the character traits of wisdom, obedience, attentiveness, confidence, thankfulness, orderliness, sincerity, reverence, meekness, loyalty, friendliness, self-control, honesty, diligence, patience, forgiveness, fairness, initiative, and love in the life of Joshua. The importance of modeling godly character is an important principle taught in this study.
