The family has traditionally been called the domestic church. From the perspective of domestic church, Dr. John Cavadini reviews both personal and communal prayer forms and the nature of spiritual reading. He provides both an historical and contemporary look at how these prayer forms can shape our Christian lives. Cavadini is Chair of the Department of Theology at the University of Notre Dame.
