The psalms are a God-given resource for prayer—God's invitation to us to speak with him. They express the whole span of human experience in the presence of God. During Jesus' life on earth He prayed the psalms and gave His disciples the Our Father, or Lord's Prayer, as a model for prayer. In this study the Our Father is used as Jesus' way of showing where to put the emphasis when we pray the psalms.
Six sessions include questions for discussion and application, commentary and explanations, quotes and prayer helps along with the text to be studied individually or with a group. Group sessions take about one and a half hours.
