This book introduces children to two very special African American sisters who followed the advice of their father, a minister and vice-president of St. Augustine's College, in striving to achieve their best. One of the sisters became the first African American teacher in New York City schools, and the other became a dentist. They both lived to be over 100 years old and have become inspirations to all those who read their story.
