First published in 1866-1878, Dr. Merle d'Aubigne (1794-1872) called this part of his monumental work The History of the Reformation in Europe in the Time of Calvin. D'Aubigne devoted his entire lifetime to the study of the Reformation. He took this knowledge and succeeded in popularizing his research. Adding true spiritual insight to his serious historical study, d'Aubigne shaped an entire generation's understanding of the fascinating events surrounding the Reformation.
