This Rhyming Words Flip Book is designed to accompany Unifix Letter Cubes from Didax. Unifix Letter Cubes are interlocking plastic cubes with the letters of the alphabet, color-coded: red for vowels and blue for consonants. Unifix Letter Cubes are an ideal material for reinforcing early alphabet, spelling, word-making, and phonics skills. The Rhyming Words Book, along with others in the series such as Opposite Words and Three-Letter Words, is designed to stimulate word building and vocabulary skills. Using hands-on materials such as Unifix Letter Cubes helps provide a multi-sensory learning experience. Encourage children to make the words on the pages that follow by placing cubes on the pictures. As you will see, each page provides a slightly different challenge; letters are missing to encourage thinking and problem solving.
