Hymns, current favorites, gospel songs, and excellent new selections are blended together in this 30 to 35 minute choral presentation for Easter. Arranged for SATB choir by Mosie Lister, this work is easily performed by the average church choir, with voicings and ranges carefully controlled. Yet the music and texts are creative, heartfelt, and moving. The theme: it was for us that Jesus died, rose, and has been exalted, and we respond to Him with faith and praise, proclaiming His great love. Included are opportunities for optional participation by children's choir and congregation. One narrator is needed.
