Have a reluctant reader at home? This set of high-interest story cards is a change from the many available readers, and might just be the tickets to reading for your student. Combining literary skills with important science-related facts, students can pick to read about animals, natural disasters or the solar system on individual, 11 x 8.5' cards. With an eye catching illustration at the top, the story is clearly written below at a 3rd-4th grade level, but with content appropriate for higher grades. On the back are comprehension questions about cause/effect, story details, vocabulary, fact/opinion and drawing conclusions.
