Neil Strait argues that stewardship does not end with the tithe. He goes on to say that good stewards must account for their talents, their time, their attitudes, their actions, their relationships, their work, their leisure, as well as their material resources. He urges us to guard against thinking that no one is interested in the stewardship of life. Rather, he believes, a thirst is evident for the sacred, deeper things of life, and that the area of stewardship is high on the agenda of modern people.
