A long time ago, a poor man bought a small farm with a small, rickety house, a broken-down barn, and a field filled with rocks. Everyone thought he was crazy to stay, but that's just what he did, for the farm was the best he could afford. Though he didn't have much, his heart was filled with gratitude. He thanked God for the house, the farm--and even the rocks. But the rocks turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The farmer used them to build a cozy new house, a warm barn for the livestock, and a stone fence to protect the garden. Little by little, the land, with the rocks removed, flourished. The man became the richest farmer in the country, all because he was grateful for everything God had given him--especially the rocks. Hardcover. Morehouse Publishing.
