This book encourages Christians to live their faith in the workplace. The expectations of our employment - in an environment of change and speed - require a mental, physical, and spiritual stretch, extending the workweek well into the '41st hour.' God can be a vital force in our work lives if we make the decision not to leave Him out. By adopting a new relationship with God - on the job - we can begin to feel useful rather than used. Effective rather than insignificant. Much like Simon and Andrew whom Jesus called to follow Him - not as fishermen but as fishers of men - we, too, can change the way we experience this critical area of our lives.
