The Bible on Culture provides an organized systematic view of inculturation from a bibical point of view. At the dawn of Christianity's third millennium 'inculturation' has become a missiological catchword. However, as Lucien Legrand argues, cultures are manifold; and the forms of interaction with, within, and between cultures are many. The interactions of God's word with cultures cn take many forms: emergence and immersion; dialogue and condemnations; even love and hate. The Bible epitomizes the diversity of these forms of encounter between faith and culture.
