How do you engage Catholics when overall church attendance is dropping? The answer is small Christian communities (SCCs), one of today's fastest growing movements. Nationally, five percent of all Catholics belong to an SCC. The number increases daily as members discover that small groups fulfill their spiritual hunger for relationship. This is good news for individuals. The good news for the church is that members of SCCs are apt to be more involved in the parish-and it's the small-group experience that brings this about.
