In response to the many changes currently going on in health care, this book offers the combined insight and wisdom of a group of scholars and professionals with extensive experience in the health care field. The book opens with a look at people's actual experience of health care today, from four different perspectives. It then addresses foundational questions, including the nature of medicine, nursing, and justice.
