Children ages 9 to 15 will love reading about this caring, loving priest who had a hard time with learning, but nurtured a deep love for God and his parishioners. Saint Jean-Marie Vianney ('the Cure of Ars') grew up a farm boy born during the French Revolution. He longed to be a priest; flunked two ordination tests; but eventually succeeded in receiving Holy Orders.
