This volume contains 6 separate works: The Didache, or the Teaching of the Twelve Apostles, The Epistles of Barnabas, St. Polycarp, Epistles to the Philippians (First and Second), The Martyrdom of St. Polycarp, The Fragments of Papias, and The Epistle to Diognetus. Each chapter begins with a small introduction (10 pages on average) followed by a small bibliography. The text considered appears in English translation only with quoted scriptures represented in italics. The endnotes appear at the end of the volume. Though there is no scripture index there is a subject index. Also, the translation is very easy to read.
