Amidst the excitement and international camaraderie of Beijing's 2008 Olympic Games, songwriter and worship leader Mark Tedder set out do something never before achieved. Armed with a night's worth of powerful music and a lifetime of hope, Tedder and band set up stage at the 4,000-member International Christian Fellowship for a unifying night of worship.
The result is The Door, the first officially sanctioned live worship project to come out of China. This fifteen-track CD/DVD combo set includes full audio and video of the evening, spotlighting moments of spoken word worship alongside uplifting, original worship anthems. Sonically, The Door blends standard Eastern instrumentation with traditional Chinese instruments, creating a truly unique, engaging, and inspiring worship experience.
