The New International Greek Textual Commentary is a sophisticated phrase-by-phrase commentary on the 1973 UBS Greek New Testament. Bruce's volume on Galatians explores historical, critical, and linguistic exegesis, but is primarily theological. Thus, he emphasizes Paul's insistence on justification by faith only, and the Spirit as the principle of new life in Christ.
