This work is written to be singable and interesting for both small and large choirs. At least two different uses are possible: (1) as a choral presentation for Christmas; performance time, 35 minutes, (2) each of the four sections can be done on the Sundays of Advent. Advent readings are provided as will as service music for Advent and Christmas. Optional participation is provided for children's choir and congregation.
