This Lenten series includes sermons for Ash Wednesday, the five Sundays of Lent, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Easter Sunday, and Sunday after Easter. The messages issue a call for repentance, appropriate to the Lenten season, yet throughout the series they reach deeply inside relating to human hurts and needs. 'Barabbas Speaks' (Fifth Sunday in Lent) is a first-person story sermon spoken from Barabbas' point of view. The Palm Sunday sermon, 'The Strength To See It Through,' merges the celebratory nature of the triumphant day with the dark Passion yet to come. 'Resurrection Of The Heart,' an Easter Sunday sermon, preaches forgiveness in very personal terms, and 'Late For Easter' (Sunday after Easter) plants the Good News in those troubled hearts which haven't yet received it.
