This information-based, independent learning unit may be used for group, whole-class, or individual study. It is a comprehensive study unit on the Middle Ages. The principle objective is to give students an overview of these fascinating times. Another important objective of this study unit is the development of crucial critical and creative-thinking skills. The activities were specifically designed to encourage divergent thinking, flexibility of thought, fluent production of ideas, elaboration of details, and originality. They may be adjusted to suit your particular teaching style, time limitations, and/or the ability level of the children. Grades 4-9. |
