This tiny primer is a reprint of the 1777 New England Primer for 'the more easy attaining the true reading of English'. Designed to combine the studying of the alphabet, vocabulary, prose, poetry and the Bible, it's thought to have been the primer used by most of the founding fathers. Children's prayers, upper, lower and italic alphabets, syllables, traditional biblical couplets for each letter of the alphabet, catachisms and more are included. Approximately 5.75' x 4'.
