Which parables did Jesus really tell? At the Jesus Seminar, over 100 scholars convened to rate the authenticity of each parable attributed to Jesus in canonical and extracanonical sources. This is their report. The 61 versions of 33 parables are printed in the color corresponding to the voting results: red and pink for authentic parables, gray and black for non-authentic. An introduction explains both the critical views of the gospels and the criteria used to evaluate the parables.
