THE PROMISE is a warm and fresh retelling of the story of Jesus through the words of two women, one an elderly retired schoolteacher, who narrates the story, and the other a spiritually endowed person named Sara who, before she was given human form, had been the guardian angel of Jesus during His time on earth.
