As churches everywhere stand on the brink of a new century and a new millennium, the Church of the Nazarene is anticipating the challenges of dealing with a society in transition. Bringing the Good News to ethnic and immigrant populations, newcomers to the community, and unchurched families is increasingly important in this rapidly changing landscape.
Raymond W. Hurn is a former general superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene. He has written a number of books, including Finding Your Ministry, Mission Action Sourcebook, Mission Possible, and Unleashing the Lay Potential in the Sunday School.
