Benjamin B. Warfield (1851-1921), Professor of Systematic Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary,New Jersey, was a prince among theologians. But while wide ranging in his scholarly interests, encyclopaedic in his knowledge and graceful in his writing, the chief feature of all his work was his deep loyalty to Christ. This is well illustrated in the sermons contained in The Saviour of the World, originally preached in the Chapel of Princeton Theological Seminary.
