God has remained silent now for almost two thousand years. No new prophets have arisen and the voice of God has not orally spoken since He spoke to His Beloved Son. Why? Sir Robert Anderson approaches this problem with his usual methodical and complete investigation and findings. God is not revealing any new truths, because the Scriptures are already complete; and God has said all He intends to say to this present generation. God has closed His revelation to man in the Bible in spite of the claims of those who would have us believe otherwise. Though written many years ago, the arguments and facts revealed here are still timely and much needed. As long as the Lord Jesus delays His return, there will continue to be the rise of false prophets, and there will be the continued need of this book: that we may KNOW that God has already spoken, and that revelation is complete.
