It provides first-century, Mediterranean cultural reflections on the three Scripture readings assigned for each day of the Triduum and Easter Sunday. The introduction explains a three-step method commonly used in cross-cultural communication. Brief suggestions for the homilist and historical-liturgical reflection questions help the reader break open the Scriptures.
