One day Turtle saw a banana tree floating down the river. She wanted to plant it in her garden but it was too heavy to pull out of the water. So she asked Monkey to help her. But the monkey would only help if he could have his share. Turtle agreed, but Monkey wanted his share now. He didn't want to wait for the tree to grow.
