Efficiently organized to make lessons enjoyable for parents and students, Great Science Adventures will teach children about basic science concepts and how to apply them. Twenty-four lessons are organized by teaching component; the teacher's section includes numbered lessons that provide vocabulary, activities, materials needed lists, directions, 'investigative loop' steps, pictures, assignments, enrichment, and alternative activities. There's also a section with the reproducible Lots of Science Library Books and graphic pages with pictures and graphics that are correlated to the lessons. Multi-level, the basic content can be taught to grades K-8 with differing expectations of mastery; the books and writing assignments are leveled.
