Math can be stressful and oftentimes, students don't even know how math works. The Write Tool to Teach Algebra teaches students how to write in order to understand, and thus perform, Algebra. Students are asked to write personal answers (What do you hate for math teachers to do?), thought-provoking questions (What is multiplication?), and of course, word problems. Standard notated problems are included as well to help students practice their patterns. Students will practice multiplying and adding integers, linear equations, solving equations, slope and slope-intercept, function, square roots and radicals/fractions/variables. 104 pages, softcover.
