These dramas provide powerful and imaginative insights into the Lenten season and the biblical characters who both supported and betrayed Jesus in his final days on earth. Characters are carefully based on the scriptural evidence, supplemented with creative re-enactments of what they might have thought and said. The plays may be performed by any size congregation. But with no more than five characters in each scene, these are perfect for use by small churches - those with limited budgets and big ideas. Characters include Mary, John, Andrew, Martha, Lazarus, Judas, Judas' mother, Matthew, Cornelius, and a host of familiar and not-so-familiar biblical personalities.
