This Way to Youth Ministry contains essays focused in specialty areas by respected leaders in youth ministry. One-page devotionals are designed to minister to students as they deal with issues raised in the text appear at appropriate places in the book. Other features include profiles of youth workers around the world, and a description of varieties of ministries within the profession. Special attention is given to six skill areas: time management, the basic tenets of incarnational ministry, developing a ministry team, planning a ministry event, the principle of communication and its implications for youth ministry, and creative techniques and program design.
