John Pory of Virginia, Emmanuel Altham from England, and Isaack de Pasieres, a Dutchman from New Amsterdam, visited the Plymouth Plantation shortly after it was settled. These letters, printed together for the first time in many years, offer fascinating objective view of Plymouth from its contemporaries.
