Trumpet in Zion addresses God in the voice,verbiage and expression of African Americans in worship. Based on the Revised Common lectionary, Trumpet in Zion offers clergy and worship planners the opportunity to utilize the Bible in new and engaging ways with their congregations. It includes calls to worship, prayers of confession, words of assurance, rsponsive readings, offertory invitations and blessing for each Sunday.
