Children around the world enjoy fairy tales. 'Under the Fairy Tale Tree: A Whole-Language Approach to Teaching Thinking Skills' presents ten popular fairy tales which are used to teach critical and creative thinking skills. Each unit begins with a summary of the story and questions from Bloom's Taxonomy. Following these questions are five or six independent project ideas developed to encourage creative thinking and writing. A 'Fairy Tale Magic' game is also included.
