Junior Asparagus discovers a lesson in faith as he learns how to rely on God in times of trouble. Junior's up to bat at the Veggie Valley ballpark, but when he strikes out, his teammates blame it on bad luck. Junior thinks a four-leaf clover may help, until the next VeggieTown Adventure when Junior winds up as the coach of the Elijah Dodgers. In the final nail-biting inning, the scoreboard reads 'If you ask him, he will come.' Junior hits a home run when he learns that there's something more important than winning: it's having faith in God and knowing that he's in control. Recommended for ages 4 to 8. |
