Even as children on the neighborhood tennis courts of Compton, California, Venus and Serena Williams showd a natural athletic talent and a drive to succeed. Dubbed 'the ghetto Cinderellas' by their father and coach, Richard, the sisters have beaten some of the top female tennis players in the world as they have achieved superstardome. They made history by becoming the highest ranking African American sisters in the tennis world.
