There is just one race (Acts 17:26), but that fact does little to lessen tensions between different ethnicities and cultures, especially those who live in close proximity to each other. This tension sometimes negatively impacts evangelism and other outreach attempts. Obviously this should not be, and so James and Lillian Breckenridge have written What Color Is Your God? By examining major ethnic groups' cultures and styles of assimilating information, the Breckenridges suggest methods for reaching those groups. While the Gospel never changes, evangelists must understand the culture they are presenting it to so it can always be presented properly, and this book goes a long way to fill in the gaps many experience in evangelism.
