This book was written to provide a biblical basis for historical position that the Church of Nazarene has taken toward the phenomenon of tongues speaking as an evidence of the baptism with the Holy Spirit or as an ecstatic prayer language and to benefit Nazarenes who desire to know why church has taken its particular stance for this perspective.
