This book presumes nothing - except 'some kind' of belief in 'some kind' of God. Or (to ask even less) it presumes a reader at least slightly uncomfortable saying 'There is no God.' The focal question, then, is: If there is 'some kind of God,' what connection does that belief have to do with practicing some kind of formal, organized religion? Then further, why should that religion be Christian? Or Catholic?
