Luther's Works, Word and Sacrament 1,is volume 35 in a 55 volume set. This 55 volume set is a joint venture of Concordia Publishing House and Fortress Press, and is the most complete translation of Luther;s works available in English. A companion volume, Luther the Expositor, is also available. This volume is edited by E. Theodore Bachmann, previously serving on the executive staff of the Lutheran World Federation in Geneva, Switzerland.
