There's a new family moving in across the street and Jade is so excited to have a girl in the neighborhood! Hannah's family moved into the neighborhood and Jade is unsure whether they should be friends because Hannah is in a wheelchair. Jade's parents explain to her that she should be friends with someone because of the kind person they are not how they look. Jade and Hannah become very good friends, they talk and giggle about just about everything.
Jade's birthday is coming up and she has been planning for her party to be at the water park, for just about ever, but she knows Hannah won't be able to do much and will be uncomfortable. What will Jade do?
